Itinerary

You will be picked up from the airport by an experienced English speaking driver guide. Have a briefing about how the safari will be and then start on the safari immediately. The journey will take about 6 hours with an enroute lunch at equator. Check-in at Mweya safari lodge.

Journey time 6-7 hours.

Meal plan:  lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: mweya safari lodge.

Have breakfast at 6am and go for a game drive at exactly 7:00 am. The game drive will give you a chance to site elephants, bush bucks, Uganda kobs, and impala and most excitingly you will get to see tree climbing lions. Back to the lodge for lunch and go for an evening lunch cruise on kazinga channel, expect to see schools of hippos, birds, crocodiles and games coming to quench thirsty.

Have a morning game drive expecting to see more of the games and the tree climbing lions in the ishasha sector, proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorillas with an enroute lunch. Check in at trekkers tavern lodge.

Have breakfast and proceed to park headquarters at exactly 7am for a briefing to know the etiquettes of gorilla trekking. Penetrate into the impenetrable to search for the gentle giants. The trekking time depends on your fitness and when you meet the gorillas you will have one hour to enjoy them in there natural habitats. Have relaxation after lunch since trekking days are usually long and tiresome. Willingly we can spend the last day on Lake Bunyonyi’s bird nest lodge.

Accommodation: trekker’s tavern lodge.

Have breakfast and then, drive back to Entebbe, have lunch in Mbarara and proceed with the journey to the airport for your scheduled flight or to your hotel.
