This 2 day Uganda gorilla tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park Uganda’s trusted home of mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is located in south western Uganda, it’s a haven to 348 bird species, 1290 mammal species, 400 mountain gorillas and these make half of the world’s total gorilla population. There 19 habituated gorilla families split into four regions of the park namely Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo.

Overview

Day 1: pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

Pick up from the airport by a driver guide and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National park with an en route lunch and stopovers for sight-seeing. Dinner and overnight.

Journey time: 8 hours

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Accommodation: Trekker’s tavern cottages or gorilla heights lodge.

Ascend to the park headquarters for a briefing and then proceed for trekking in the jungle and  after finding the allocated family you will be given 1 hour to stay with them, take photos and observe there life style.

Transfer back to Entebbe.
