Tour Plan
Your adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kampala to Jinja, the historic Source of the Nile. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the rafting crew at the briefing site, where you’ll enjoy tea or coffee as you receive a detailed orientation on safety and paddling techniques. Professional guides will provide helmets, life jackets, and other rafting gear before the action begins.
By late morning, embark on your first half-day rafting session along the Nile’s Grade III–IV rapids — thrilling yet manageable for beginners. You’ll tackle several exhilarating waves, splash zones, and drops, all while surrounded by lush riverbanks and birdlife. Midway through, enjoy floating stretches where you can relax and take in the scenic beauty of Uganda’s most famous river.
In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Nile River Camp — your home for the night. Settle into your riverside tent or cabin before enjoying a sunset dinner overlooking the water. As night falls, gather around the bonfire, share stories with fellow travelers, or simply gaze at the starry African sky as the sounds of the river lull you to sleep
Awaken to the soothing sounds of the Nile and enjoy an early breakfast before gearing up for a full day of rafting. Today’s stretch features more advanced Grade IV–V rapids that promise intense excitement and unforgettable thrills. Each rapid has its own character — from long, rolling waves to steep drops that test teamwork and courage. Between the rapids, calm floating sections allow time for swimming, photography, or simply drifting in the warm sun.
Lunch is served riverside, followed by a short rest before tackling the final rapids of the day. For the truly daring, an optional bungee jump from the Nile High Tower can be arranged — offering a spectacular 44-meter plunge toward the Nile’s sparkling waters.
By late afternoon, you’ll wrap up your rafting expedition and freshen up before beginning the return journey to Kampala, arriving in the evening with hearts full of adventure and stories to tell
